As described in our Admissions Policy, those students who are eligible for Pupil Premium through having been eligible for Free School Meals during the last six years are given priority selection if they have achieved a minimum qualifying score.

Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School is delighted to celebrate the many outstanding achievements of all their Year 11 pupils in the GCSE examinations this summer. This is despite the fact that this cohort spent their formative Years 8-10 living in the shadow of the coronavirus pandemic, which has had a massively disruptive impact on their learning.
