27 gen 1983 · Ray Bradbury (1920-2012) was one of my first favorite authors. I read all of his available books in the library when I was in junior high in the late Sixties, and he was a huge influence on me. I look forward to reading Bradbury again after all these years -- the current volume was originally compiled in 1980, and first published in the Everyman's Library in 2010.

5 ago 2003 · He adapted sixty-five of his stories for television's Ray Bradbury Theater. He was the creative consultant on the United States Pavilion at the 1964 New York World's Fair. In 1982 he created the interior metaphors for the Spaceship Earth display at Epcot Center, Disney World, and later contributed to the conception of the Orbitron space ride at Euro-Disney, France.
30 apr 2010 · He adapted sixty-five of his stories for television's The Ray Bradbury Theater, and won an Emmy for his teleplay of The Halloween Tree. He was the recipient of the 2000 National Book Foundation Medal for Distinguished Contribution to American Letters, the 2004 National Medal of Arts, and the 2007 Pulitzer Prize Special Citation, among many honors.
