The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute represents the culmination of Lee’s development as a director, teacher, and pioneer in actor training. As a result, The Institute teaches what Lee Strasberg considered to be a comprehensive approach to solving the actor’s fundamental problems.
In celebration of the Institute’s 50th Anniversary, The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute is thrilled to announce 4 new need- and merit-based scholarships to the Los Angles campus! No audition or prior experience required. This class is suitable for actors 18 and over of all levels who have not yet studied at the Institute. Taught by Method Acting teachers from The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. Upon completion of Method 101, you are eligible to enroll in Method in Focus classes to continue your journey!

Patrick Bonavitacola received his training as an actor at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute from Lee Strasberg. Lee invited him to become part of The Actors Studio community in 1979, and he has been associated with The Studio for more than 35 years now—first as an actor, and for the last 15 years as a member of the Playwright/Directors Unit.
