Steely Dan är ett amerikanskt rockband bildat 1971 i Los Angeles, Kalifornien av Donald Fagen (sång/keyboard) och Walter Becker (gitarr/basgitarr). Gruppen har centrerat runt de två, även om Steely Dan fram till mitten av 1970-talet presenterades som en grupp med fler medlemmar.
Steely Dan est un groupe de rock américain fondé en 1971 par deux auteurs-compositeurs : Donald Fagen (chant, claviers) et Walter Becker (guitare, basse). D’abord formé comme un groupe rock conventionnel, Steely Dan a évolué vers un duo mélangeant des genres aussi variés que le rock , le jazz , la pop , la musique latine , le blues , le reggae , le rhythm and blues .
