In “Paranoid Park” Van Sant sembra cedere alle lusinghe del melodramma più semplice, ed accompagna la storia principale con inserti video e musiche tanto coinvolgenti quanto a tratti eterogenee rispetto alla narrazione principale.
Paranoid Park è un film diretto da Gus Van Sant, tratto dall’omonimo romanzo dello scrittore americano Blake Nelson. Presentato al festival di Cannes nel 2007, l’opera si aggiudica il premio speciale per la sessantesima edizione.
