Dongguk University was founded in 1906 by the Korean Buddhist Religious Jogye Order. It is one of the few Buddhist-affiliated Universities in the world that offer innovative, world-class education at the heart of Seoul. The University, however, is open to educators and students from all faiths and philosophies.
