Súhlasím preto s názorom, že Deadgirl má sociálny rozmer, či zámerný, alebo nezámerný ťažko povedať, určite však provokujúci a hodný zamyslenia. Je to dekadentný a zvrhlý film, ani nie tak vizuálne ako v domýšľaní, - film, ktorý sa miestami tvári ako americká sračka, ale je natočený európskym spôsobom, vo svojej podstate je kontroverzný.

6 nov 2023 · Deadgirl is a story of one boy’s longing for acceptance while his moral compass is compromised by peer pressure. The film centers on despicable acts committed towards women but is in no way condoning such behavior. The guilty are punished, the victim somewhat vindicated and there is plenty of collateral damage to make viewers cringe.
Plot. Ari Rose, an unsuccessful actor, falls for a beautiful woman named Helen-Catherine but strangles her when she rejects him. Ari then takes the dead woman home, has sex with her corpse, and comes to believe that she is still alive and in love with him. He's soon taking her out in public without anyone seeming to notice her condition.

Beginning his directing career with It’s Better to Be Wanted for Murder Than Not to Be Wanted at All (2003), Marcel went on to direct multiple feature-length titles as well as worked on the anthology films The ABC’s of Death (2012) and VHS: Viral (2013).
