The Seeding is a strange and inventive new film that brings a lot of horror from a very minimal setup. I’m not fully comfortable with it, and that’s a good thing. From the first frames, you can tell The Seeding will be different: it’s the type of lower-budget indie horror where the director is totally free to do things his way.

10 mag 2024 · Voor de kijker is dat best een vervelend gevoel, dus dit zal niet voor iedereen behapbaar zijn. Ten slotte wordt er in de film en in de beschrijving ervan gesproken over 'kinderen', maar 80% van de groep lijkt gewoon volwassen te zijn. Zelf vind ik The Seeding zeker geen slechte film, maar je moet misschien wel in de juiste stemming zijn.

Non ho notato nulla nei titoli di coda, ma questo The Seeding non è altro che il remake di La donna di sabbia di Teshigahara. Identitco lo spunto ed identico il contesto della vicenda e nello sviluppo dei personaggi. Ovvio che questo film ne è una versione ridotta considerando che dura 100 minuti anzichè le due ore e mezza del film giapponese.

20 mag 2024 · The Seeding ended with the death of Wyndham Stone. He was killed after he served his purpose, and his body continued to rot outside Alina’s house. Alina had stated that nothing went to waste in the desert, and this explained the very first scene of the film, where Alina’s daughter is seen feeding on a rotten finger (yes, the finger belonged to her father!).
