Il progetto The Tokyo Toilet nasce con l’intento di dimostrare come sia possibile fare architettura di alto livello anche approcciando un tema difficile come quello dei bagni pubblici, lavando via lo stigma da questi ambienti che vengono generalmente evitati dalla maggior parte delle persone.
I love Tokyo so when I was channel surfing and saw the title, I stopped and watched this short film. It was well-crafted, has great cinematography and the plot was good. I thought Tokyo Project was a series of stories that take place in Tokyo though. I wish that were the case so I'm disappointed that it's just one story.
In order to create a new tourist resource to add color to Tokyo at night, projection mapping using the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building No. 1, one of Tokyo's landmarks, as a canvas to express a variety of art with light and sound is shown throughout the year. On the first day of the screening, an opening event with live performances is held.

There’s no rich and poor, no old and young, everybody’s part of humanity“, he said. The film shooting will take place in Tokyo in October 2022.
