La Ley (Spanish, "The Law") is a Chilean pop rock band formed in Santiago by Andrés Bobe and Luis Alberto "Beto" Cuevas Olmedo with Mauricio Claveria, Rodrigo Aboitiz and Luciano Andrés Rojas. After a failed first album, Desiertos (1989), they released Doble Opuesto (1991), which appears as the official first album of the band.
