John Cale OBE, född 9 mars 1942 i Garnant i Carmarthenshire i Wales, är en brittisk sångare, violast, gitarrist, basist, pianist, låtskrivare och producent. Han är mest känd för sitt medlemskap i avantgarde -rockgruppen The Velvet Underground men har även gett ut en lång rad egna album och producerat andra musikers material.
