Miles Joseph Berkeley (Biggin Hall (Benefield, Northamptonshire), 1 april 1803 – Sibbertoft, 30 juli 1889) was een Engelse botanicus en geestelijke. Berkeley ging naar de kostschool, Rugby School en later naar Christ's College van de universiteit van Cambridge .
BERKELEY, MILES JOSEPH (1803–1889), English botanist, was born on the 1st of April 1803, at Biggin Hall, Northamptonshire, and educated at Rugby and Christ’s College, Cambridge, of which he became an honorary fellow. Taking holy orders, he became incumbent of Apethorpe in 1837, and vicar of Sibbertoft, near Market Harborough, in 1868.

Miles Joseph Berkeley ( Biggin Hall, Benefield, Northamptonshire, 1 d'abril de 1803 – 30 de juliol de 1889) va ser un científic i clergue britànic, un dels fundadors de la moderna ciència de la fitopatologia. Berkeley va rebre educació al Rugby School i el Christ's College, Cambridge. [2] Es va ordenar pastor anglicà el 1837.
