Grafton, Anthony. Storico statunitense (n. New Haven 1950). Formatosi alla University of Chicago, è divenuto professore alla Princeton University dal 1975, dopo aver studiato a Londra con A. Momigliano. Si è occupato di storia della cultura e storia della scienza, principalmente nell’Europa del Rinascimento, e della trasmissione del sapere.

Anthony Grafton (parfois Anthony T. Grafton), né le 21 mai 1950, est un historien américain, professeur à l'université de Princeton, à la chaire Henry Putman. Il est également membre correspondant de la British Academy et lauréat du prix Balzan .
Anthony Grafton is the author of The Footnote, Defenders of the Text, Forgers and Critics, and Inky Fingers, among other books. The Henry Putnam University Professor of History and the Humanities at Princeton University, he writes regularly for the New York Review of Books.
