Karl Friedrich (9 January 1724 – 20 December 1785) was a member of the House of Hohenzollern and Prince of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen, Lord of Haigerloch and Wehrstein from 1769 until his death. Born in Sigmaringen , he was the eldest son of Joseph Friedrich Ernst, Prince of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen and his first wife, Maria Franziska Louise of Oettingen-Spielberg.

Life. Friedrich Wilhelm was the eldest son of Prince Philipp of Hohenzollern-Hechingen (1616–1671) from his marriage to Marie Sidonie (1635–1686), the daughter of Margrave Herman Fortunatus of Baden-Rodemachern. He was still a minor when he succeeded his father as Prince, so his mother took up the regency.
"Friedrich" Hermann Otto of Hohenzollern-Hechingen (born 22 July 1776 in Namur; died 13 September 1838 at Schloss Lindich in Hechingen) was the penultimate Prince of Hohenzollern-Hechingen. Friedrich was the only child of Hermann, Prince of Hohenzollern-Hechingen (1751 - 1810) and his wife Maximilienne Albertine Jeanne, Princess of Gavre (1753/55 - 1778).
