We used to get a new map, 4 new weapons, 2 new operators, 4 or more seasonal weapon skins, new thematic loginscreen with soundtrack, + more balancing changes. We have over 70 operators in this game, all with unique abilities and gadgets to utilise in game. Yet half of them aren’t playable because they are so bad. Once you get into the higher ranks, most operators are going to be considered a throw pick because Ubisoft just ignores most of the roster.
The problem is that his gadget is just extremely unhealthy for this game. It's either too strong or too weak. The rework is probably going to throw away the head shot shield entirely for something else. We've seen Blackbeard when he's strong, mid, and weak. Every single time, if he's mid or strong, the game is toxic and inherently unfun.
