In order to obtain a scholarship, it is necessary to gain a place at the College through the Entry Assessment process. Scholarships are available for: Academic, Music and Sport. Scholarships are honorary and carry no reduction in fees but they provide access to the relevant scholarship programme.
Scholarships are typically honorary, but we offer a very small number of Directors’ awards in Music and Sport which carry a fee reduction of up to 20%. Scholarship assessments are held in the academic year preceding entry and are open to all pupils holding a confirmed place at the College.
School Fees 2023/24. Boarding Fees: £15,665 per term.
Bursaries of up to 100% of the fees are available for candidates for both 13+ and 16+ entry and the College offers a limited number of bursaries for the children of Clergy. Uniform and other costs can also be included dependent on need.

Marlborough College is an English independent day and boarding school for boys and girls aged 13 to 19 in Marlborough, Wiltshire. It was founded in 1843 for the sons of Church of England clergy and now educates over 900 pupils.
Scholarships at Marlborough do not secure a fee reduction. To support families who would not otherwise be able to afford College fees, applications for means-tested bursaries are welcomed.
