Angela Pleasence was born in Chapeltown, South Yorkshire. She is the daughter of actor Donald Pleasence and his first wife, Miriam Raymond. The surname for both daughter and father has occasionally been credited as "Pleasance".She remains best known for her performance as Catherine Howard in the 1970 BBC mini-series The Six Wives of Henry VIII (1970).
Pleasence was, however, always happy to work with Carpenter again, and lent his talents to the role of a priest who uncovers the gateway to the apocalypse in "Prince of Darkness" (1987). He took part in a made-for-TV sequel to his breakout film - the only member of the original cast to do so - in "The Great Escape II: The Untold Story" (NBC, 1988).

Daphne Anne Angela Pleasence (born 30 September 1941), better known as Angela Pleasence, is an English actress.Trained in theatre, Pleasence's first major film role came in Hitler: The Last Ten Days (1973), followed by roles in horror films such as From Beyond the Grave and Symptoms (1974).
