Peter Shand Kydd (1925– 23 March 2006) was the stepfather of Diana, Princess of Wales and an heir to the wallpaper fortune built by his father Norman Shand Kydd. He was half-brother to the former champion amateur jockey William (Bill) Shand Kydd.

Born in 1925, he was the son of Frances Madeline (nee Foy) and Norman Shand Kydd , a member of a wealthy wallpaper manufacturing family (who were said to have invented flock wallpaper), of Horton Hall, Buckinghamshire.
