The Kinkaid School experience goes beyond the classroom walls and the school day. The experiences we provide are designed specifically to encourage a wide range of activity and a balanced point of view. Our kaleidoscope of offerings helps to develop individuality and open-mindedness in students.
FUNDRAISING PRIORITIES. Our campaign goals are guided by Kinkaid’s five year priorities, affirmed by the Board of Trustees in 2020. The School’s priorities emerged from extensive surveys of parents and alumni; insights from faculty, staff, and students; and the Board’s determination to ensure students and faculty have facilities worthy of their efforts and aspirations.
Mrs. Kinkaid recessed the School for one year, 1905, to care for her newborn second son, William, before reopening the school in 1906. Mrs. Kinkaid was brilliant and far ahead of her time in recognizing the importance of educating the whole child, not just in the basics but in a variety of extracurricular experiences.

“Kinkaid Middle School gives every student a chance to experience every kind of activity or aspect of school you could think of. Unlike other middle schools, from sports to clubs, the arts, leadership roles, midterms, tutorials, and so much more, KMS had it all, which gave me the opportunity to get to know myself better, so I could narrow down my journey in high school.
