In addition to founding Malfunkshun, Kevin’s talents have been showcased in his numerous bands including: Kevin Wood & From the North, Devil Head, Fire Ants, Hippie Glitz. His band members have included Chad Channing from Nirvana, Ben Sheppard of Soundgarden, Sean Smith of Brad & Satchel.

In March will be also released Man of Golden Words, the first biography dedicated to the voice of Mother Love Bone written by Scot Barbour, the author of Malfunkshun: The Andrew Wood Story, a documentary that will soon be available in a new 4K version with several unreleased scenes added to the original editing of 2011.   4. Malfunkshun began in the early 80s in Seattle Wa by brothers Kevin and Andrew Wood. The band reformed in 2010 and still plays classic tunes from the Back To Olympus album as well as the Monument album which features un released compositions and lyrics by Andrew Wood.

  5. Malfunkshun dissolved without having released much material, although they recorded demos and appeared in the landmark grunge compilation Deep Six. Malfunkshun's demos with Andrew were later compiled and released on cd/digital as Return to Olympus on Loosegroove Records, which was founded by Hagar and fellow Mother Love Bone (currently of Pearl Jam) member Stone Gossard.

They were joined by Matthew Cameron (drums), who had previously played with House in an instrumental power trio called Feedback (37).
