The film was trying to *somewhat* bring attention to the harmful stereotypes about South Indians, colorism, and a deragatory term used to refer to tamilians. But then casting a light skinned North Indian actress to play a Tamil girl defeated the whole purpose. Disappointing. The lack of representation sucks and this movie pissed me off.
