2 mar 2004 · According to several biographical sources, when Jack spoofed "The Graduate" on his TV special "Jack Benny's Bag", he had originally wanted Anne Bancroft to play Mrs. Robinson (the role that she played in the film). However, for one reason or another Anne wasn't available, so Phyllis Diller played the part in Jack's spoof.
