31 mar 2024 · The School stages theatre at venues across Bristol and the spring and summer term productions that you design for will be based in one of the city’s many performance spaces. Recent venues have included Bristol Old Vic, the Redgrave Theatre, the Wardrobe Theatre, Circomedia, Tobacco Factory Theatres, the Malcolm X Centre amongst others.
Bristol Old Vic Theatre School will provide all the support you need to take control of your finances. For fees purposes, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School classifies students as UK or International. Your residency classification determines the amount you pay in tuition fees as well as the financial support available to help towards tuition fee costs and living expenses.
Help us make a difference to our students through one of our Bursary Funds. The training at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School is rigorous and hugely demanding on the individual, with students in class for over 40 hours per week. For this course, an overall score of 7.0 is normally required, with a minimum of 7.0 in reading, 6.0 in writing, 7.0 in listening and 7.0 in speaking. Please contact our admissions team for further advice. Entry to the MFA Professional Acting course is by audition. Auditions for this course are held online.
