Taught by Fatima Wilson of the Salah and Family Steelpan Workshop, this special class will teach you to play the steelpan. She will teach you the fundamentals of music and some wonderful songs in a fun and dynamic group setting. Over 10,000 Montrealers have attended classes at The Children’s Theatre since the school was founded in 1933 by Montreal legends Dorothy Davis and Violet Walters. Many people said a drama school founded in the midst of the Great Depression, by two women no less, would not survive.
23 set 2023 · Running right before the musical theatre class each Saturday in the fall (a total of 12 classes) will be a Steel Pan instrument class. For Musical Theatre students, we are offering you the opportunity to enroll in that class as well, for an additional $75. You must Specify yes or no for steel pan.
