Tietburga von Haldensleben sposò Dedo I di Wettin . Dedo I di Wettin Dedi o Dedo , chiamato anche Ziazo o Ciazo , (950 circa – Zörbig, 13 novembre 1009) era figlio di Teodorico I di Wettin e Jutta di Merseburgo.
Dedo was a younger son of the Wettin margrave Conrad I of Meissen and his wife Luitgard of Ravenstein. From 1144, he administered the lordship of Groitzsch as heir apparent of the late Count Henry of Groitzsch (d. 1135), and also as an adopted son of his aunt Bertha (d. 1143), Henry's sister and Groitzsch heiress.

From the rank of count held by Dedo, a rank of count is often assumed for Theodoric in German historiography, but authors vary in naming Theodoric a count of Wettin, or of Hassegau, or of Liesgau. Thietmar names Theodoric as a member of the tribe of the Buzici (de tribu, quae Buzici dicitur) and as a relative on his father's side of Rikdag, Margrave of Meissen (r. 979-985).
26 giu 2023 · Dietrich was Count in Hessengau. His son Dedo II (died 1009) was the first to capture Wettin, which gave the family its name. Almost nothing is known about Dietrich's life; not even the year of his death is clear. It is believed that Dietrich was slain in battle with the Magyars in 976.
