Bill Purk, the mule in the Muleskinner Band is celebrating 50 years of sharing his musical talents. Formed in 1985, The Muleskinner Band's first performance was at Market Place ‘85 in Urbana, Ohio. Since then, the band has traveled to 5 different states, including West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and extensively throughout Ohio near and far.

The Mule Skinner Band. Swedish pop / schlager / rock 'n' roll band formed in 2014 by Gert Lengstrand. The band consists of former members of Streaplers . The band played their first gig in Kungälv on September 20, 2014. In 2015 & 2017 the band participated in Bingolotto. On September 25, 2015, the first album Together Again was released.

Muleskinner was perhaps the one and only bluegrass supergroup. Composed of David Grisman (mandolin, vocals), Clarence White (guitar), Peter Rowan (guitar, vocals), Richard Greene (fiddle), and Bill Keith (banjo), the group formed as a favor to a California public television station looking for someone to perform on a show with Bill Monroe's Bluegrass Boys .
