Tammy Grimes (born January 30, 1934, Lynn, Massachusetts, USA – died October 30, 2016, Englewood, New Jersey, USA) was an American actress and singer. She was married to Christopher Plummer from 1956 to 1960 (divorced) and to Jeremy Slate from 1966 to 1967 (divorced).
From there, there was no stopping the unsinkable Tammy Grimes. She toured in Molly Brown, she was back on Broadway with High Spirits, the musical version of Noel Coward’s Blithe Spirit, which was a moderate hit, she guest-starred on a few TV shows like Route 66 and The Danny Kaye Show, and she had her own short-lived sitcom, The Tammy Grimes Show.
