Leben. Gruffudd begann seine Karriere im Alter von 14 Jahren als Schauspieler in der walisischen Seifenoper Pobol y Cwm (1989–1994). Ioan Gruffudd (born October 6, 1973) is a Welsh television, stage, and movie Actor. He is known for his roles as Harold Lowe in Titanic , Lt. John Beales in Black Hawk Down , and his role as Reed Richards in Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer .
Gruffudd won strong notices for his performance, and that same year he earned additional raves for his work in the BBC television adaptation of Great Expectations. He then exchanged period etiquette for contemporary perversion with his role in the BBC miniseries Love in the 21st Century, playing a man whose obsessive interest in masturbation threatens his relationship with his wife.
