Dom DeLuise was an American actor, comedian, director, and voice actor. He was best known for his roles in films such as The Cannonball Run, The End, and All Dogs Go to Heaven. He was also a regular on the variety show The Dean Martin Show. DeLuise was born in Brooklyn, New York City, on August 1, 1933.

He is known for his role as Officer Doug Penhall in the Fox TV series 21 Jump Street and for directing and writing episodes of science fiction television shows, particularly in the Stargate franchise.
