12 apr 2023 · With that being said, it relies heavily on visual effects. Some look great especially for being over 10 years old while some scenes look very cheap and dated. Overall, B’Twixt Now and Sunrise is a confusing and difficult film to follow. I loved the acting and the idea behind the film but the overall movie is one I can’t recommend. Skip it.

In the case of B'Twixt Now and Sunrise, I think this is more changes than we normally see from a director's cut. We aren't talking about a few new scenes or something. While it doesn't have any new footage, he rearranged huge chunks of the movie and ended it in a way that changes the whole tone and emphasizes the more personal aspects of the movie.
