It is our understanding that this restaurant is named Dolly's because parts of the "Hello Dolly" movie were filmed at this location. The restaurant has charm, overlooking the river and beyond to West Point. We were seated at a window location where we thoroughly enjoyed this spectacular view. We enjoyed the meal, and the service.

Dolly's has a big parking lot, it is a breakfast and lunch place, it closes at 2:30 (they are serious about it, around 2 pm they started to pile up those chairs from empty tables around us!), even earlier on Sundays! We sat outside, nice, big, shady patio! Their lemonades are great, fresh, natural, tart! Lunch was a tad disappointing.

25 set 2023 · If you are ordering the leg and thighs, chicken dinner, you’re gonna get one leg and two BACKS, then an argument. Apparently at Dolly’s restaurant, BACKS are served as THIGHS per the waitress, even though there’s hardly any meat to the back. Either change the menu to say 1 leg & 2 backs, or just serve the thighs like it says!
