The Texas Rangers chase down a gang of outlaws led by Butch Cavendish, but the gang ambushes the Rangers, seemingly killing them all. C'è un bel film intrappolato negli estenuanti 149 minuti di "The Lone Ranger", ma troppo di frequente si fatica a scorgerlo e l'intero progetto appare allo stato grezzo, come un blocco di marmo cui rimanga ancora da "levare il soverchio".
