U.K. Subs are an English punk band. They were among the earliest in the first wave of British Punk, formed in 1976.
Most Subs aficionados will tell you that this compilation will never eclipse the mighty 'Recorded 1979-1981' compilation (and they'd be right), but this is indeed a stellar release that ticks all of the boxes when it comes to retrospective singles releases.
