Carl Perkins (born April 9, 1932, Tiptonville, Tennessee, USA - died January 19, 1998, Jackson, Tennessee, USA) was an American rockabilly musician and songwriter, nicknamed "the King of Rockabilly". He was inducted into the Rock and Roll, the Rockabilly, and the Nashville Songwriters Halls of Fame; and was a Grammy Hall of Fame Award recipient.

My favorite vinyl record of all time. So underrated and always worth a listen, Carl truly is a magician of his music. So sad it didn't sell too well, this deserves so much more credit. Of course, it's not perfect for everyone, it's rather personal preferences if you like this style of unusual music. Give it a listen if you like to!
