3 lug 2023 · Frances Irving Langford, of Falmouth, passed away early July 3, 2023 at her residence at Atria Woodbriar Park. She was 92 years old and the daughter of Reginald and Marie Irving, Sr. She was one of five children. Her brothers Reggie and John predeceased her. She leaves her sisters Muriel Miller of Florida and Jeanne Platt of Falmouth.
Langford sold the Outrigger following Evinrude's 1986 death, additionally donating their former beach house to serve as the Frances Langford Visitor Center of the Florida Oceanographic Society. In 1989 Langford made her final on-camera appearance when she was featured in Entertaining the Troops, a television special recalling Hope's USO tours.
