30 lug 2009 · Max Immelmann was born in Dresden, the son of a container factory owner. When World War I started, Immelmann was recalled to active service, transferred to the Luftstreitkäfte and was sent for pilot training in November 1914. He was initially stationed in northern France as a reconnaissance aviator.
The Immelmann bomb reticle is a straight horizontal line (well 3 lines after each other). The bombs don’t drop exactly on the line though and can be a bit ahead or behind. Most importantly the horizontal gaps between the bombs and the vertical distance away from the line become smaller with each line.
