I’m all honesty, you can’t JUST watch season 1… you NEED to watch season 2 as it’s all part of the original overall story/vision that Zal and Brit created. You need to experience it. It’s worth every second. There’s a different kind of magic to it for sure, but the magic is still very much there.
Season 2 seems to be quite different as it offers a wide range of mysterious events. The season starts as Hap runs a new test in Cuba that could change things. In the meantime, Homer and OA seem to be working on mastering their own escape plan.

It was a total different direction, vibe, story, etc. It didn't feel like The OA to me, it felt like a completely different show. I watched season one easily twenty times. I've watched season two twice, and I'll likely never watch it again. You’re wrong season 2 is mind breaking and so meta and so much more.
