Introduction Dotter is a graphical dotplot program for detailed comparison of two sequences. Here, every residue in one sequence is compared to every residue in the other sequence.

1 lug 2007 · Since we had to write a printing library for Jalview, it was also incorporated into Dotlet, allowing a PDF file of the dot plot to be exported. In addition, it is now possible to select several matching diagonals (i.e. regions of similarity between two sequences) and to send them back to the browser ( Protein Hub ) for further analysis.
