The Bayswater Omnibus (1895) - A horse drawn omnibus of the London General Omnibus Company ran regular routes, gave artist Joy a bus to help the accuracy of his painting. Joy’s wife and daughter modeled for him, alongside a woman with a parasol and basket of flowers, a city gent in top hat and frock coat, a nurse in starch uniform and a milliner boarding the bus with a hatbox.
