James Bundy (born May 8, 1959 in Boston, Massachusetts) is an American theatre director and teacher who has served as Dean of Yale School of Drama and Artistic Director of Yale Repertory Theatre since 2002.

He is reportedly the longest-serving artistic director/dean in the U.S., and by the end of his fourth term in 2022 he will have overseen nearly seven generations of graduate classes.
James Bundy is the current dean of the school as well as the artistic director of Yale Repertory Theatre. Current faculty members in the Acting department include Gregory Wallace, Ron Van Lieu, Erica Fae, Christopher Bayes, Cynthia Santos-DeCure, Tlaloc Rivas, Walton Wilson, and Tamilla Woodard, who also serves as chair of the program.
