Eton College Eton College is a world-renowned public school, and sits in the heart of Eton town, England. It was founded in 1440 by Henry VI under the name Kynge's College of Our Ladye of Eton besyde Windesore, intended as a sister institution to King's College, Cambridge, making it the 18th-oldest Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference (HMC) school.
Home Admissions Year 9 (13+) Entry. A boy can be registered at any time up to 30 June in UK School Year 5 (the UK academic year in which he reaches the age of 10 years), for example: For 2025 entry a boy needs to be registered by 30 June 2022. For 2026 entry a boy needs to be registered by 30 June 2023.
