28 gen 2024 · 1. The Lucid Dream Theory: At the heart of the “Vanilla Sky” ending lies the concept of lucid dreaming. David Aames (played by Tom Cruise) is trapped in a lucid dream, where he constructs an idealized reality. This dream serves as an escape from his disfigured face and the guilt he feels for the death of his lover, Julie Gianni (Cameron Diaz).
A mysterious man (Noah Taylor) turns up wherever he goes and tells David that he has the power to control the world. And one night he goes to bed with Sofia and wakes up to find himself with Julianna, who insists she really is Sofia. He grows violent, convinced that Julianna is alive and playing games with him.

Ma è la via attraverso la merda. Se eviti queste cose, perdi tempo e opportunità. Conseguenze. Non sempre può essere dolce.
