This article describes Lithuanian dramatic intertexts in Juozas Grušas' late dramas Švitrigaila (1976), The Union (1977), and Requiem to Noblemen (1978) and their relationship with the works of Balys Sruoga and other works of Juozas Grusas. Intertextual analysis highlights the peculiarity and development of Grusas' dramatic concept.

The Treaty of Christmemel ( Lithuanian: Skirsnemunės sutartis) was a treaty signed on 19 June 1431 between Paul von Rusdorf, Grand Master the Teutonic Knights, and Švitrigaila, Grand Duke of Lithuania. Švitrigaila was preparing for a war with Poland to defend his claim to the Lithuanian throne and sought allies.

Bet, pasiekus Šventąją, netoli Ukmergės, jam pastojo kelią Zigmanto sūnaus Mykolo vedama lietuvių ir į pagalbą atėjusių lenkų kariuomenė.
