ashmedai94. •. So overall, I would agree Les is the better bassist. Flea has a stronger groove in my opinion, but Les is more original and more versatile. What really makes him stand out is that Les can make very minute and subtle elements sound like a lot more than what they actually are.
He’s always given credit where it’s due 👍🏼. Powerful. In a Primus biopic, Les shwbe played by Ed Norton. Bass godz. a skeeter and a flea. I would to hear them record something together. I bet the smell of body odor abounds. Right chair. Now these two need Rob Trujillo to complete the set of legendary bassists.

He is as well-versed in jazz fusion as he is in heavy metal or progressive rock. His band Primus mixed funk, metal, and other genres to create something unique.
