Karen Briggs is a violinist/composer, born in 1963 in New York. (Manhattan). She took up the violin just before her 12th birthday and was playing in concerts at age 15. She is probably best known for her appearance and fiery solos in the PBS Broadcast of "Yanni: Live At The Acropolis". She has performed in over 45 countries as a featured soloist.
