Within the church, there’s been a rising awareness of the Sons of Issachar from 1 Chronicles 12:32. The subject often rises in sermons and prophecies in the modern church, and there must be a good reason for that. But many believers don’t understand who the Sons of Issachar were and why they are relevant to the church in modern times.

In the Book of Genesis, Issachar is listed as one of the twelve sons of Jacob, and is later mentioned in the blessings of Moses in Deuteronomy. The Psalmist compares him to a swift-footed donkey, and lists him in the blessing from Psalm 68.
