She said: “Our recent inspection report reflects the strengths of our diverse school community and our determination to improve outcomes for all our young people, both in terms of attainment and experiences.

The school that we know today first opened its doors in 1894 in a nearby building on Pollokshaws Road which now houses Shawlands Primary School.
