James Thierrée. Actor: Tabac Rouge. James Thierrée was born on 2 May 1974 in Lausanne, Switzerland. He is an actor and director, known for Tabac Rouge (2013), Chocolat (2016) and Les illusions (2008).
Biography. James Thierrée was born in Lausanne in 1974 and made his stage debut aged four in his parents’ circus, Le Cirque Imaginaire. From 1978 to 1994 he toured with Le Cirque Imaginaire, its successor, Le Cirque Invisible, and Le Cirque Bonjour, then trained at the Piccolo Teatro, Milan, and the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique, Paris.

Nato nel 1974, James Thierrée debutta nel teatro a soli quattro anni con Le Cirque Bonjour e prosegue la sua attività con Le Cirque Imaginaire con cui gira per il mondo. Nel 1998 fonda la propria compagnia La Compagnie du Hanneton alla quale sceglie di dare il soprannome della sua infanzia “Hanneton”.
