  1. CURRICULAR REQUIREMENTS. Students in this program may study either Full-Time or Part-Time. The Full-Time Program is 12 weeks, with 22 hours per week of classes.This program includes 8 hours of Method Acting and 14 hours electives of the students choice, chosen from the available classes.

  2. THE METHOD. Lee Strasberg often described Method Acting as what all actors have always done whenever they acted well. What Lee Strasberg meant was not that The Method™ had always been around, but rather, The Method came into being as a way of giving an actor the means to achieve the type of results that had moved and captivated audiences across time.

  3. The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute® is one cohesive school, founded by Lee Strasberg with the same educational mission and the same high standard of actor training. Both campuses teach Lee Strasberg’s Method in its purest form and offer the same core classes. Elective classes, however, will vary at each campus and are subject to change.

  5. The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute® is the culmination of Lee Strasberg’s work. His students represent the 50 years Lee Strasberg spent training actors—from the Group Theatre in 1931, through the Actors Studio and The Institute until 1981, and beyond through The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.

  7. TUITION RATES BY PROGRAM. Please note all programs include a non-refundable $150 registration fee per term included in the tuition. International Students: There is an additional $100 administrative processing fee per term for international students in F-1 status.
