14 lug 2022 · AST National Academy of Theatre Arts in Krakow has five faculties, where there are 450 students, taught by 140 academic teachers. The Academy’s lecturers include those who are outstanding, artistically active creators of the Polish theatre. The proprietary curricula of the academic teachers are based on the individual master-student relationship.
AST National Academy of Theatre Arts was founded in 1946 and is located in the cities of Bytom, Kraków, and Wrocław, Poland. It specializes in art and acting, offers postgraduate studies, and has 5 departments that handle them. Aside from acting, departments also focus on directing, puppetry, and dancing.
AST National Academy of Theatre Arts in Krakow holds the Forum of Young Directors (FMR), a showcase of works by students of Directing at Polish public theatre academies. The FMR is a platform for exchanging experiences, methods of educating young theatre artists, and their promotion by presenting the most interesting theatre projects.

National Academy of Theatre Arts was formed in 1946. AST runs one season of master studies leading to a Master of Fine Arts degree at the Acting Department and the Drama Directing Department in Krakow, the Acting Department and the Puppetry Department in Wroclaw, and the Department of Dance Theater in Bytom.
